Kazbegi Private Day Tour

A full day in the high Caucasus done in private comfort. We start north along the Military Road, stop at Ananuri Fortress on the Aragvi reservoir, pause at Gudauri for skyline views, and continue past the Russia–Georgia Friendship Monument with its mosaic platform over the gorge. After lunch in Stepantsminda we transfer by 4×4 (or hike, weather depending) up to Gergeti Trinity Church at 2,170 m for one of the most photographed views in the country: a fourteenth-century chapel with Mount Kazbeg behind it.

Return to Tbilisi in the evening. Long day on mountain roads — bring a layer.
